Beijing, the capital of China, is the centre of China's economic, culture, science and technology. Beijing’s ancient past and exciting modern development attract numerous travelers every year. The success of hosting 2008 Beijing Olympics Games gives the world a deeper impression and greater understanding of this metropolitan.
The first ICCTA with the theme of Wireless Communications and RFID has already been successfully held in 2009. There were over 200 excellent papers domestic and overseas registered and presented. The purpose of this conference is to provide an idea-exchanging platform to worldwide research institutions and companies in the field of telecommunication technology. The theme of ICCTA 2011 is IMT-Advanced and IoT (Internet of Things). They are of exciting area in which a wide range of theories and methodologies are essential to be investigated and developed to tackle complex and challenging problems.
As one of the most potential and challenging technologies, IoT covers technologies including wireless communication, computer network, cybernetics, information system and management science, etc. It is described as a self-configuring wireless network of sensors whose purpose would be to interconnect all things. The applications is expanding to the areas such as manufacturing, logistics management, public security, ITS, identification, medical equipment tracking, etc.
Scholars, experts, corporate leaders from all around the world would have chance to share ideas on communication technologies, their evolution, application and industrialization.
