Submitting Ansoft Jobs

Submitting Ansoft Jobs

Jobs may be submitted to the Windows HPC Scheduler using any of the following methods:

• Command Line HPC Jobs

• The Submit HPC Job Dialog

• Windows HPC Job Manager GUI

• Windows PowerShell

Note

This section describes the first two methods listed above. For information concerning the remaining two methods, please refer to the Microsoft documentation regarding those procedures.

Ansoft batch analyses that are run as Windows HPC jobs may be submitted using either the Command Line or the Submit HPC Job dialog. It is recommended that you use the Submit HPC Job dialog, as this will assist you in creating a valid task Command Line. If you do not use the Submit HPC Job dialog, then you must specify the complete command line for the Desktop task.
