2. If L = S, a straight section is assumed.

3. This case is useful for inter-chip bond wires.

4. The resistivity is assumed to be that of gold wire (2.44μΩ×cm) unless some other value is assigned to R.

5. If S is not supplied, S=L is assumed.

6. This model considers the effects of dielectric and metal losses. It is based on transmission line theory with the dispersion effects considered.
