Notes

1. The Transmission Power Control model can be used generate transmission power control com­mands (+/- 1) with an interval of one slot. +1 indicates increasing transmission power, and -1 indicates reducing transmission power.

2. Let I(k) be the interference power at the kth slot. Before being used to calculate SINR, the input interference power is pre-averaged using a first-order filter with forgetting factor as fol­lows

(1), where μ is the forgetting factor.

3. The measured SIR l(k) the kth slot is defined as

This value l(k) is compared to a pre-determined Target SIR (dB), if greater, transmission power control command -1 will be output, otherwise, +1 will be output.
