Limits

Notes

This model converts the real floating point input signal to real fixed-point signal. The output format is set by the user specified parameters: outW, outD, ovf, quant and arithtype, where ovf defines the overflow characteristics, quant defines the quantization characteristics and arithtype defines the arithmetic type. The following plot shows the relationship between the word length and the pre­cision.
