Notes

1. The following condition should be satisfied to get accurate results with default value of NSUM (NSUM=4):
H/lg < 1 (for all widths, W=W1, W2, W3, and W4), where lg is the guide wavelength of the dominant mode.

2. The angle between the lines is 90°.

3. Increasing NSUM will improve the accuracy, but will increase the analysis time. Setting the default value to NSUM=4 has proven to provide sufficient accuracy (±3%) and good analysis time.
