Notes

1. This model performs logarithmic amplification. The input to this model is assumed to be a bandpass signal with in-phase and quad-phase envelopes vin,i(t) and vin,q(t). The output is a bandpass signal and has same carrier frequency as the input. The output in-phase and quad-phase envelopes are logarithmically amplified as follows

vout,q(t) = M2(t) · vin,q(t)/A1(t)
where
