1. This model produces the result of the subtraction of two input fixed point real signals. It is assumed that the user will assign the same format for the two inputs. The fixed point output signal format is the same as the input signal format when the parameter useInAsOut is set to be 0, in which case parameters outW, outD, ovf, quant and arithtype will be ignored; other­wise, the format is set by outW, outD, ovf, quant and arithtype.

2. The following plot shows the relationship between word length and precision.
