Notes

1. This model adds the IS-95 tail bits to initialize the convolutional coder (Reference 1). Because eight tail bits have been added for 9600 Hz, 88 bits for 4800 Hz, 40 bits for 2400 Hz, 16 bits for 1200 Hz, then the ratio of the output bit rate to input bit rate is 192/184, 96/88, 48/40, 24/16 for 9600Hz, 4800Hz, 2400Hz, and 1200Hz respectively.
