Platform Load Sharing Facility

Ansoft products support both the Windows and Linux Load Sharing Facility clusters (LSF).

• Serial analysis, multi-processing, and distributed analysis is done on computing resource units assigned by LSF.

• Ansoft jobs do not require graphics in LSF.

• Ansoft job progress can be monitored through LSF commands.

• If a temp directory is setup by the LSF cluster administrator, analysis engines use the LSF temp directory, overriding settings in the Ansoft product.
