Multilayer Solver Examples

General Description

This example shows the S-parameter and farfield calculation of a planar antenna.

Structure Generation

The antenna geometry is created with some basic shape operations.

Solver Setup

For the excitation a port is defined. Open boundary conditions are used to simulate the open space around the structure. A farfield monitor allows the visualization of the farfield after the simulation.

Post Processing

The scattering parameters can be accessed through the 1D Results folder in the navigation tree. The farfield can be found in the folder Farfields.
