The standard plot views automatically show the result data associated with the executed simulation tasks. To activate this view, you must click on the corresponding item inside the navigation tree that is automatically inserted.
Furthermore,
user-defined
result plots can be added by the user to a project. Choose Navigation Tree:
Results Add
Result Plot. An editable
item will then be added to the 'Results' folder inside the navigation
tree. By customizing the Add
Result Data dialog box, data from the current result set can be added
to that plot.
Both kinds of plot have in common that there is a corresponding item inside the navigation tree. Clicking on it activates or opens the plot.
Initially, a plot view shows the magnitude of the data. You can switch to another representation using the 1D Plot ribbon, as there are displays of the real part, the imaginary part, the magnitude in DB, the phase, a polar representation and the Smith chart.
From the 1D Plot:
Properties
you can open dialog boxes where you can modify the settings for the current
plot as well as the font and color settings, the selection of the curves
to display, the axis ranges, etc.
